The Big Draw, Junior Entrepreneurs & More...
Join us for The Big Draw

A nationwide celebration of drawing and creativity, with a week-long festival of activities for our students and staff culminating in a Family Day on Friday 28 October.

You and your students are invited to participate in creative activities, including drawing a touring menagerie of animals, making musical instruments from unlikely items and learning about survival in The Survival Village, all centred around our very own Super Volcano.

We will also be presenting The Big Jam a drawing and performance event with just a hint of chaos – on Tuesday 25th October between 6:30 and 8:30pm. Suitable for adults and children with an interest in performance, maths, science and creativity.

Junior Entrepreneur Competition

Our Junior Entrepreneur of the Year Competition is organised to celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week, with the primary aim of introducing students to entrepreneurship, enterprise and their future options.

The competition, which takes place on 19 November, sees groups of Year 8 students (no more than five students per school) developing their own unique business plan with the help of our academic team. Prizes are awarded to the top 3 business ideas.

If you are interested in this event or would like further information please contact us.

Girls Do STEM

The Girls Do Stem event is designed to enthuse and inspire young female students to pursue STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) courses and careers. This one-day event sees students taking part in a series of interactive workshops followed by a public lecture and panel discussion with STEM academics and professionals.

We'd like to invite you to send up to five Year 10 and five Year 12 students to participate in this event. For more information, please contact us.

Hidden Heroes

Just a few months remain to bring the Hidden Heroes: Soldiers of the Empire exhibition to your school.

The mobile exhibition, developed by Middlesex media students in collaboration with Eastside Community Heritage, gives young people the opportunity to discover the previously untold stories of ethnic minority soldiers during the First World War.

To arrange a free visit from the Hidden Heroes exhibition please contact us.
